Terms of Service
Effective date: August 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of verifre.com and our client sign-in. Work we do for a client is governed by that client’s own signed agreement.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Verifre (“Verifre,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of verifre.com (the “Site”) and the client sign-in area. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you are using it for a company, you agree for that company. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site is informational
The Site describes our services for general information only. Nothing on it is an offer, quote, or promise of specific results, and browsing the Site or submitting the contact form does not create a contract or a client relationship. Descriptions, examples, and illustrations show what is possible, not exactly what any project will include.
3. Client work is governed by a separate agreement
When we build or run software for a client, that work is governed by a separate signed agreement, such as a master services agreement and statement of work (a “Client Agreement”). The Client Agreement covers scope, fees, deliverables, ownership, data handling, and support. If a Client Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Client Agreement controls.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or anyone else’s account or data;
- probe, scan, or test the Site’s vulnerabilities, or interfere with its operation, for example by flooding it with requests;
- get around our security or bot protections, or use bots or scrapers on the Site;
- send spam or malicious content through our forms;
- copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Site, except as the law expressly allows; or
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with any person or company.
5. Client accounts and security
Client sign-in at /login is only for people we or our clients have authorized. Two-factor authentication is required. If you have an account, you agree to:
- keep your password and two-factor device secure and not share them;
- use your account only as your organization has authorized; and
- tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Your organization’s use of its systems is also governed by its Client Agreement.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and the Verifre name, belong to Verifre or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Site for your own informational purposes. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, or use its content without our written permission.
Ownership of software and other deliverables we create for a client is set by that client’s Client Agreement, not by these Terms.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services and links
The Site may use or link to third-party services, such as a bot check on our forms or a scheduling tool. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
8. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verifre disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that its content is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verifre and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some places do not allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Liability for client work is governed by the applicable Client Agreement.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Verifre and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms or the law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Site or the client sign-in area at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Site, our clients, or others. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Verifre is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Using the Site after an update means you accept the new Terms.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
